Ben Pearl, DPM came up with a concept of a turf toe splint which is now being refined in it’s final prototype version with CEO and president of OS 1st, David Higgins. Dr. Pearl was never totally satisfied with carbon fiber plates put into cleats and running shoes. Athletic taping Is helpful but Breaks down quickly , can be uncomfortable and sometimes leads to blisters. . Full production of the splints will be available next year But as the lead inventor,Dr. Pearl will have the final prototype available for his patients next month.
